My name is Aiden B. Hall and I am a student at Drake University studying public relations with minors in marketing and graphic design. I have a deep love for writing, art and building meaningful relationships. In my free time, you can find me reading (mostly fantasy) novels, trying new recipes, or looking at cats on the Animal Rescue League website.
Ever since I could walk, I wanted to try everything. Attempts include: ice skating, soccer, theater, ballet, tennis, gymnastics, band— you name it. Some things I stuck with longer than others (namely, six years of competitive cheerleading), but I’ve always loved the experience of trying new things, and that hasn’t changed. I still have a long list of things I’d like to try (skiing, writing a book, boxing, backpacking, making pasta…) and I plan to continue to live curiously and embrace every adventure.
Attending college at Drake has been the greatest adventure so far. I never imagined I’d stay in the midwest, let alone in a city smaller and colder than my hometown of St. Louis. However, the last three years have been the most fun and transformative years of my life. I’ve made amazing friends, found my true passions (definitely not cheerleading), and had the opportunity to hone skills that I will use in both my personal and professional life. The serious caffeine addiction I’ve developed is definitely worth it.
In my time at Drake, I’ve had multiple internships that have helped shape my idea of my “dream job.” I didn’t even know what PR was when I started college, and I definitely didn’t have any concrete career goals. Now, although I still don’t know exactly what I want to do, I’m looking for something that allows me to be creative (whether that’s designing materials, writing copy or developing strategy), collaborate with awesome people, and be a part of an organization that I support. I may not know exactly what my future looks like, but I’m so excited to see what it has in store.
